Gift a Membership Terms and Conditions
Eligibility and Redemption
- Gift a Membership is available to individuals who meet NZ Young Farmers’ membership criteria, including being between 15 and 30 years of age, not suspended or expelled, and otherwise eligible under the NZYF Constitution.
- Recipients of a gift a membership must complete the standard online registration process and provide accurate, up-to-date information.
Membership Duration and Benefits
- Each gift a membership provides full member status for 12 consecutive months from the activation date, with access to all standard NZ Young Farmers member benefits during this period.
- The membership period begins from the date the recipient's membership is activated, regardless of the calendar year.
Allocation and Use
- Gift a membership can be allocated to a nominated club/region, selected volunteers, or individuals identified as needing support (e.g., facing hardship, disaster, or other challenges).
- Recipients may only be assigned one NZ Young Farmers club during the membership term and cannot hold multiple memberships at once.
- Membership is personal and non-transferable. It cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods/services.
Membership Management and Renewal
- Recipients must maintain their membership details and notify NZ Young Farmers of any changes.
- Upon expiration, further membership is subject to standard membership renewal policies and fees unless renewed or gifted again.
- Early termination is possible, but refunds (full or partial) are not provided for gifted memberships.
Conduct and Suspension
- Gifted members are subject to the NZ Young Farmers Member Code of Conduct, and membership may be suspended or revoked in case of breach.
- NZ Young Farmers reserves the right to decline or revoke membership under conditions outlined in their Constitution and code of conduct.
Amendments
- NZ Young Farmers may update these terms at any time, with changes becoming effective upon posting to the official website.
- Continued activation or use of a membership after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
