Showcasing dairy farming to future generations
Under NZ Young Farmers ownership, Donald’s Farm operates as a commercial dairy farm, with the future aim to utilise the farm as an outdoor learning centre to inspire younger generations to get involved in the dairy industry.
A legacy comes to life
An outdoor classroom for NZYF members and the wider community, Donald’s Farm aims to connect people with farming, having a particular focus on children and young people.
Donald’s Farm was gifted by the late Donald Pearson to New Zealand Young Farmers in 2018
His wish for the farm is to provide initiatives to attract young people to farming. The
farm is now managed by NZ Young Farmers member, Sam Waugh (pictured).
