Exciting high school students about the food and fibre sector

TeenAg is a network of secondary school clubs that allow students to explore the food and fibre sector and learn about the opportunities available in the primary industries.

Learn something new and connect with others

TeenAg is open to 13-18 year olds who are attending secondary school. The TeenAg membership leads to members joining an NZ Young Farmers Club, open to 16-31 year olds who are either studying or working in the food and fibre sector.

Joining a TeenAg club helps you to engage with the agriculture sector, broaden your networks, gain information about careers, try exciting new activities, develop your leadership skills, enter competitions and have a heap of fun!

My school doesn’t have a TeenAg Club, what can I do?

Do I need to be at school to be a TeenAg member?

Yes, TeenAg memberships are for high school students years 7 - 13.

I've been a member in the past, how do I renew my existing membership?

You will need to rejoin. Please fill out the registration form here.

I have moved schools, how do I change my club?

Please sign into the membership portal and head to your profile. Here you can change your club as well as any other important details. If you have any issues, please let us know.

I am too old for TeenAg, or I'm not at high school, is there a membership opportunity for me?

Yes, you can register to become a NZ Young Farmers member. Click here to find out more about the clubs in your region.

What is the LPP?

New Zealand Young Farmers have developed the Leadership Pathways Programme to identify emerging leaders, harnessing their current skills and knowledge to ensure that positive, forward-thinking leaders are entering and making a difference in the Primary Industries.
