AgriKidsNZ is back for 2025!   

HOW DOES IT WORK?  
From February to April 2025, seven Regional Finals will take place nationwide. Teams of three will tackle modules focused on the food and fibre sector. The top seven teams will then compete in the Race-Off, with the top three teams securing a spot in the Grand Final.

WHAT WILL I BE TESTED ON?
For an idea of what kind of tasks to expect, please look at our family of sponsors and think about the challenges they might set. There is also a module topic library here which provides some ideas of what might be in modules. This is an educational resource rather than a guide to go by. Every team will also receive tips and tricks the week before your Regional Final.

WHO CAN ENTER?
> Primary school students between the ages of 8-13 (age as of 1 February 2025).
> A maximum of seven teams from each school
> There is a maximum of 35 teams per event
> NOTE: if you don't have your team members confirmed, you can still register teams! Just put "TBC" in the relevant fields, but you must confirm the team members two weeks prior to the event. 

PRIZES
1st Place: $30 per contestant
2nd Place: $25 per contestant
3rd Place: $20 per contestant

WHEN DO I NEED TO REGISTER BY?
Entries close at 11:59pm the Sunday prior to the event, if you miss this deadline get in touch with NZYF team here. If team registrations have sold out, you can join the waitlist and we will notify you if a place opens up and you’ll have 48 hours to enter a team. There is only room for 35 teams per regional so get in quick!
