Food & Fibre Youth Network

Enabling young people to add their voice

The Food and Fibre Youth Network (FFYN) enables young people in the primary sector to add their voice to shaping the future of our food and fibre sector.

NZ Young Farmers, in collaboration with the Ministry for Primary Industries, Beef and Lamb NZ, DairyNZ and AGMARDT launched the network, creating an opportunity for young representatives across the food and fibre sector to raise industry issues and provide input into critical decisions about the sector’s future.

Meet the Council

A Council has been appointed to provide governance and leadership to the wider Network. The following nine young people make up the founding Council for The Food and Fibre Youth Network.

Join the Network

Support the food and fibre sector

We currently have Network members who are located around New Zealand and are involved in a number of food and fibre industries.

Occasionally network events will be organised at venues that will move around the country. Each of these meetings will have themes that feedback will be gathered on.

Anyone can join the FFYN Network. If you wish to join, please sign up today.
