After the conclusion of the District Event and Prizegiving, the Crossroads Clinton Pub will host an Otago Southland Members Catch Up from 5:00-10:00pm! There will be an area to camp if you are travelling from a distance, this area will be disclosed at the District Event. Otherwise there are some rooms available at the Pub. Be sure to get your District Entry in and come along to Clinton Rugby Club to support the Otago Southland Region!

ITEMS TO ACTION

Please go through the below documents and complete the Health and Safety Induction and Waiver of Liability before arriving to the contest. You won't be able to compete until you've done so.

 

CLOTHING

Each contestant will receive a Bushbuck shirt and FMG hat to wear. You must wear these at all times while competing, however feel free to layer to stay warm. Please wear plain black shorts or trousers without any visible logos (it's fine to cover them up with black tape). 

Please check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Every person on site must wear closed-toed shoes. 

GEAR LIST

Please bring your own water bottle, there will be water sources available to refill. 

If you prefer to wear gloves while fencing, please bring your own as there is only one size available on the day. 

PRIZES

The top 8 contestants will receive a cash prize and will qualify to compete at the Regional Final. 

MEDIA

We'll be taking photos and videos throughout the day to use for marketing purposes. Please let the NZYF staff member on site know if you do not want to be in any photos or videos.
