Milwaukee® Supporting the Next Generation of Food and Fibre Producers

We’re delighted to announce that Milwaukee Tool has officially joined the New Zealand Young Farmers (NZYF) sponsor family.

Founded in 1924, Milwaukee Tool is a global leader in delivering innovative solutions to the professional trades, with a wide range of quality power tools designed to maximise efficiency and safety. Like our young farmers, Milwaukee is a bold, ambitious, and daring brand – pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and designing solutions that put the user front of mind.

Milwaukee will join other industry leaders in supporting the FMG Young Farmer of the Year Contest, testing contestants on their skill behind their range of power tools, hand tools, accessories and more.

NZYF Chief Executive, Lynda Coppersmith, is looking forward to seeing the partnership come to life.

“Our young farmers are passionate about new and innovative products that make their lives easier, and that’s exactly what Milwaukee tools offer. We’re excited to work together to give our members the opportunity to broaden their skillset and knowledge with a wide range of products.”

Milwaukee Tool will also partner with the organisation through the NZYF Community, a new initiative aimed at ensuring the core organisation is financially sustainable for many years to come.

Geoff Polkinghorne, General Manager at Milwaukee Tool, says that the global company is looking forward to being involved with the next generation of food and fibre producers, and seeing how the next generation of talent will put the Milwaukee range to the test.

“Milwaukee Tool is proud to partner with New Zealand Young Farmers who are integral to New Zealand’s agricultural sector. They do an amazing job supporting young farmers, connecting communities, and growing future leaders,” Geoff says.

“We are also excited to showcase our Nothing but Heavy Duty™ range of battery-powered tools, designed to get the job done better, faster, more reliably and with uncompromising safety.”
