Cinta Personal Development Fund: Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

• Applicants must be a current financial member of New Zealand Young Farmers (NZYF) and must maintain their membership until the completion of the activity outlined in this application.
• Applicants must have signed up to the Cinta Collective
• Previous recipients of this grant are not eligible to apply.  
  
  

Use of funds  

• The grant may only be used for the purpose stated in the approved application (e.g., training courses, conferences, workshops, study fees, mentoring programmes, etc.).
• Any significant changes to the approved activity must be approved in writing by NZYF before the activity takes place – this includes changes to the date of activity outlined in this application.  
  
  

Payment of grant

• Payment will be made upon valid proof of payment (GST receipt) to the bank account included in this application. It is your responsibility to ensure the bank account details are correct. 
• In some cases, NZYF may pay providers directly rather than transferring funds to the recipient.
• Recipients are responsible for covering any costs beyond the approved grant amount.
• This grant is a one-ff payment, with no ongoing payment provided to the recipient.
    

Reporting requirements

Recipients must submit a short report within 30 days of completing the activity, outlining:

• What was achieved and learned
• How the experience contributed to personal and professional growth
• How the knowledge/skills gained were or will be shared with others

NZYF reserves the right to use recipient stories, quotes, and photos for promotional purposes (with credit to the recipient)

Selection process

• Applications will be assessed against published marking criteria
• Decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into
• NZYF may choose not to award the grant if no suitable applications are received
  
  

Acknowledgement  

• Recipients must acknowledge NZYF and Cinta in related communications, social media, or presentations where possible
  
  
  General  
• The applicant must agree to these Terms and Conditions in the application form
• NZYF reserves the right to amend these terms at any time, with notice to recipients
