Justin Ruygrok (28)
I am a sharemilker with a Diploma in Agriculture from Massey University. When I’m not working on the farm, I enjoy spending my time hunting and fishing, embracing the great outdoors.
Jack Halloway (28)
I grew up on a sheep and beef property on Banks Peninsula and look forward to returning there someday. I hold a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hons) from Lincoln University. Currently, I work for Fonterra as a Trade Strategist, collaborating with a team that strengthens trade relationships to ensure our dairy products reach international markets.
Outside of work, I enjoy skiing, hunting, tramping, and exploring Auckland’s beaches.
Justin Mann (24)
I work as a Dairy Assistant on Abercrombie Farm and hold a Primary ITO Level 3 Certificate in Agriculture, specialising in dairy farming. In addition to my farming role, I’m currently restoring two classic tractors—a TEA20 and a Farmall Cub—bringing them back to full functionality.
Jamie Hodges (22)
I’m a 22-year-old bull farmer based in Wellsford, passionate about agriculture and the outdoors. I’ve earned Level 3 and Level 4 certifications in Agriculture, as well as a Level 3 qualification in Hospitality. In my spare time, I enjoy pig hunting and fishing.
Daniel Richards (27)
I’m a dedicated dairy farmer and part-time beef farmer, proud to have been a member of Young Farmers since 2020. Currently, I serve as the Chairman of Kaipara Young Farmers.
Kurtis Danks (29)
Kurtis has been a dedicated member of Young Farmers since 2016, playing an active role in strengthening the Northern Young Farmers region. His contributions include helping organise the Season 54 FMG Young Farmer of the Year Grand Final in Whangarei—a major event for the community. As a senior member, Kurtis now serves as the club advisor for Kaipara Young Farmers, providing guidance and support to ensure the club continues to thrive.
Kate Hawkings (29)
Nickname is K8M8, I drive a mechanical spade for a living and I milk cows as a side hustle. No official qualifications, just winging it. There is nothing better in life than a cup of tea!
