David Reesby is a 25-year-old dairy farmer working on his family farm near Glen Oroua. Farming has always been the goal, and he now balances early starts and full-time farm work with preparing for the FMG Young Farmer of the Year Grand Final alongside his fiancée, Sarah.
A former Grand Finalist in 2022, David returns with more experience after several years involved in organising competitions and supporting the Young Farmers movement from behind the scenes.
He describes himself as an all-rounder, focused on consistency and steady improvement across all areas of farming.
With strong support from Marton Young Farmers, David is looking forward to competing close to home and giving it his best shot.
