This exciting new initiative reflects a shared commitment between Cinta Insights and NZ Young Farmers to empower the next generation by directly supporting skill development, training, and professional growth, the grant aims to enhance the capacity of young farmers to thrive in a rapidly evolving sector.
“We’re thrilled to deepen our partnership with NZ Young Farmers and continue supporting the grassroots of our sector,” says George Glubb, Managing Director, Cinta. “This grant is more than financial assistance; it’s an investment in the future of farming in New Zealand.”
How do people get involved?
The Cinta Insights Grant will be awarded quarterly and is open to:
Active members of New Zealand Young Farmers, and Members of the Cinta Collective — a rural research community made up of thousands of engaged New Zealanders.
Each grant round will provide financial support for recipients to pursue training, vocational development, or upskilling opportunities. This could include industry workshops, short courses, field days, or other hands-on learning experiences aligned with the dynamic needs of modern agriculture.
“NZ Young Farmers exists to grow future leaders in agriculture,” says Cheyne Gillooly, CEO of Young Farmers. “This grant from Cinta Insights strengthens our ability to offer meaningful development pathways and recognises the vital role our members play in shaping the future of food and fibre in New Zealand.”
By combining NZ Young Farmers’ grassroots reach with Cinta Insights’ commitment to rural research and advocacy, this partnership reinforces a united vision: that a vibrant, skilled, and supported rural workforce is essential for the prosperity of New Zealand’s agricultural future.
