Announcing the Finalists for the NZYF National Awards 2025!

We are pumped to announce the finalists for the New Zealand Young Farmers (NZYF) National Awards for the 2024 year! These awards celebrate the outstanding contributions and achievements of our members, clubs, and regions.

These are in no particular order below:

Club Of The Year
This award honours the Young Farmers club that excels in attracting and retaining members, creating a welcoming and engaging environment, and contributing to the wider community. The finalists for Club Of The Year are:

• Tasman Valley Young Farmers
• Balfour Young Farmers

• Northern
• Otago Southland
• Taranaki Manawatu

Event of the Year

This award honors the exemplary organization, active participation, and significant impact achieved in NZYF events. The finalists for Best NZYF Event are:

• Piarere Young Farmers - Christmas donations to Waikato Rural Support Trust
• Clinton Young Farmers - Cancer Society Quiz Night
• Opiki Young Farmers - 85th Celebration

Service To Young Farmers
This award recognises the dedicated contributors within NZYF who consistently go above and beyond. The finalists for Service To Young Farmers are:

• Sarah Avery - Inglewood Young Farmers
• Georgia Moody - Lincoln Young Farmers
• Emma Wilson - Dunedin Young Farmers

Emerging NZYF Member of the Year

This award recognizes members who are earlier in their Young Farmer career, but have already made a significant contribution to the organization.

• Emma Ractliffe - Eskview Young Farmers
• Connor Miller - Balfour Young Farmers
• Rebecca Spindler - Inglewood Young Farmers
