Leadership
As a member of New Zealand Young Farmers, you will be exposed to numerous leadership opportunities, both directly with the organisation and through the contacts you'll make.
There are great leadership and personal development opportunities within NZYF. Our members run professional meetings and have the ability to become a chair, vice-chair, secretary or treasurer of their Club. This can then progress on to holding positions at District, Regional or even National level as a member of the NZYF Board.
Members also gain organisational skills from running various activities and events that reflect their interests and widen their career skills as they develop and grow in their chosen profession. They also gain a social awareness by raising money for their Club or charities within their community and the country.
