Jesse Brennan

POLICY ADVISOR
Jesse grew up rurally in Northland and Gisborne, and currently works as a Senior Policy Advisor (Regional) for Federated Farmers of New Zealand. Jesse is based in Tauranga and works across Bay of Plenty, Taranaki, Waikato, Auckland, and Northland regions on a range of regional policy issues.

Jesse is passionate about New Zealand's food and fibre sector and is committed to achieving good outcomes for both people and the environment. Jesse brings to the role relationship management skills, leadership, an in depth understanding of resource management, and ultimately an understanding of the food and fibre sector (and the challenges currently facing it).

Jesse’s role puts her in a position where she can advocate for farmers best interests and provide practical and achievable contributions to the resource management space on their behalf.

"We're all role models, everyone who's involved in the sector has the opportunity to inspire others towards the sector and be a role model. Farmers are a bloody awesome group of people."
