The ANZ Young Farmer Contest is: New Zealand’s Ultimate Rural Challenge inspiring excellence, showcasing innovation and growing human capabilities.
The Young Farmer Contest sets a benchmark of excellence for young people in the agricultural industry to achieve and aspire to. It is also an opportunity for agriculture to celebrate and reward its achievers and to showcase itself to the wider community.
NZ Young Farmers is now seeking to employ a Contest Events Leader. This is a interesting and challenging role running this prestigious annual event.
As the Contest Events Leader you will have responsibility for a direct report, You will be required to professionally manage, to a high standard, the operations of The ANZ Young Farmer Contest from District Finals through to the Grand Final.
To be successful in this role you will be a creative, confident, fun individual who has had significant event management experience. You will be an excellent communicator, team builder and time manager and outstanding organising skills. An understanding of rural communities is preferable.

Integrated Pathways Leader (Fixed Term – Maternity Leave Cover)

The Primary Industry Capability Alliance (PICA) provides guidance for people to progress their career opportunities in the agricultural industry. PICA is your road map. Become part of this exciting new initiative as the Integrated Pathways Leader (maternity leave cover).
The Integrated Pathways Leader provides support to the NZ Young Farmers CEO on the PICA project, coordination of the Rural Business Network and the Rural Mentor Programme and general administrative support as required.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years administrative experience, who can work independently, communicates effectively and is keen for a challenge.
