NZ Young Farmers Study Scholarship
New Zealand Young Farmers awards two University cash scholarships worth up to $1,500.00 and one Polytechnic cash scholarship worth up to $750.00 every year study year. The applications must be from students studying agriculture or agriculturally related topics at Universities or Polytechnics.
This scholarship is provided by the Young Farmers World Congress Charitable Trust which was formed in 1989 to distribute the revenue produced from the investment of profits from the World Congress of Young Farmers held in Christchurch in 1985. Lincoln University Scholarships for Excellence
Every year Lincoln University proudly offers seven scholarships covering full tuition fees for one year of undergraduate or postgraduate study.
The scholarships provide an opportunity for young rural New Zealanders to earn a tertiary qualification which will lead to career advancement and personal development. One scholarship is awarded to a District Final entrant in each region. The scholarships are awarded at each of The National Bank Young Farmer Contest Regional Finals.
